Unfortunately, in the mountains of the Wallis we are not spared of the increasing frequency of
freak weather. The weather in Leukerbad is not different than in other Swiss cantons.
It happens that sometimes the cable cars can't withstand to the forces of nature.
This can happen by the famous jet stream, known in Switzerland, or by very heavy snow fall
(avalanche risk). In these cases, unfortunately we are not able to hold the ski lessons.
To avoid losing your course fees, for such exceptions, we offer to you an adverse weather insurance!
The insurance premium costs CHF 10.- per course.
If the course can't be hold because of bad weather, you'll get the money back for the failed day.
You'll get the money back at the office of the ski school.
How to complete a adverse weather insurance?
This happens very quickly. In the online shop just click on the adverse weather field and you are
insured for the course. For each course you have to book the insurance again.
One insurance can't be combined with several courses.
Of course it's also possible to complete the insurance directly at the office of the ski school.
We keep your personal data confidential, they will not be disclosed to third parties.
